Community programs offer a comprehensive soccer experience for players of all ages and skill levels. Our focus is to create an atmosphere and environment in training and competition where players are challenged to be creative and solve problems. The priority is on the individual player and the development of technically superior soccer players in a fun, rewarding setting. Great importance is placed on age appropriate activities and creating a child-centered learning environment where building the player comes first, then the team. Players will practice twice a week (on average) throughout the season in an academy style format which US Soccer determined as a “Best Practice.” We implement and replicate many of the highest standards required by U.S. Soccer.
Eligible players are players born in 2015 (U8), 2014 (U9) and 2013 (U10).
A six month program: August - October; March - May; teams will meet on average three times/week.
Teams will play in a local league and most games will be scheduled for the weekends. At the U10 age group, there may be some state/regional travel depending on level of team.

There are four events included in the program fee. Any event over the included four events will be billed separately. Ala cart event fees will range from $45 - $100/event and will be billed separately at the time of such event. Ala cart event fees are only refundable to the extent a refund is received from the event.
For the 2022-2023 season, Sporting Columbus will be in season one of a two season uniform cycle (the current uniform cycle will end after the spring, 2024 season). All players will need to order a full kit. Uniform orders are placed online. After you pay your deposit, soccer.com will send an instruction e-mail to all players regarding the uniform process. Returning players will maintain their current number; uniform numbers for new players will be randomly assigned. The uniform ordering process will begin around June 15.
Through May 31, the fee will be $950 ($118.75 deposit with monthly payments thereafter). For June 1 - June 30, the fee will be $999. Starting July 1, the program no longer has open registration; it will be tryout/need based and the fee will be $1049. All fees include but are not limited to practices (outdoors, indoors, in person and/or online), friendlies and/or games. These fees do not include travel and/or uniforms.
All players will have a $25/player facility fee. This fee is non refundable, non scholarshipable and non discountable.
All players are welcome – there are no tryouts for these ages thru June 30. Each player must register online and pay their deposit to join the program. All registration is completed electronically. Tryouts for these ages will start July 1.
