Frequently Asked Questions
What do the different tiers mean?
The different tiers refer to the different competitive levels; tier I refers to a team that plays in MLS Next (boys) or the Academy (girls), tier II refers to a team that plays in NAL (boys) or Aspire (girls), tier III refers to a team that plays in GLA, OSSL, BPL or something similar and is best suited for that particular team, and tier IV refers to a team that plays in a local league like COPL.
How will uniforms work?
As we are in the middle of several contracts regarding brand, servicer and sponsors, for this year, girls will wear uniforms provided by Capelli and boys will wear uniforms provided by adidas. Tiers I/II teams will have a more robust uniform package based on their league and travel requirements.
Where will teams practice?
This will depend on the tier, gender and coach. The primary outdoor practice locations for tier I/II teams will be ODU, Jennings Park, Kilbourn Run and Harvest Prep. Tier III/IV teams will be more community based so teams can be based out of Lewis Center, New Albany and/or Pickerington.
Who are my coaches?
Coach assignments will be announced on an ongoing basis but will be known at the time any team offer is provided.
What’s included in my fees?
This will also depend on what tier my team is; however, as the information is finalized (along with fees) this will be available online prior to any team offers being provided.
What events do teams attend?
This will also depend on what tier my team is; all teams will have a robust competitive schedule which will include a mixture of league games, events and friendlies.
